The Canadian Fluid Power Challenge is intended to provide Grade 7 and 8 students with hands-on experience building a hydraulically actuated mechanism with real-world applicability and to open their eyes and teachers' eyes to technology careers and, in particular, careers in fluid power.

Sponsorship of individual schools by CFPA member companies and other supporters of technology education have been a big contributor to the success of our previous competitions. The sponsorship donations cover some of the costs of the materials, t-shirts, lunches and refreshments that make this a productive and enjoyable event for all involved.

Sponsorship includes:

Recognition at the individual school workstations and at the team demos on Challenge Day
Acknowledgment on the CFPA website and in communications to members
PDF certificates of appreciation that sponsors can use within their own companies
Photos of company representatives with their sponsored team (if they attend the Challenge)
